Hi All,

I've a quick couple of questions regarding opening a full screen window.
1) I've heard that Win XP with service pack 2 prevents this. Is that right?
2) Is it possible to have true full screen by moving the close/minimise bar off the screen?

I'm doing this for a client GUI - is there a better way of creating a desktop App feel to an online GUI if you can get the client to add to the websites to the trusted sites list?

Thanks,

Richard

Your questions are both based upon the assumption that you're talking about Internet Explorer. Other browsers may not be so restrictive.

WRT to IE, you could use an HTA (HTML Application) to become "trusted" and gain more priviliges.

Hope this helps,
Dan
