I have a table in my database with a many-many relationship (not the relationship between tables but the relationship between the fields in this table). One field being Pupil ID, one being Subject ID, and then 12 other fields each referring to a different type of grade i.e. Attainment, Attitude, Punctuality, etc.
To mail merge the table I need to have all the grades/subjects for one pupil in one record (or do i?) i.e. one table/query with fields Subject 1, Grade 1, Subject 2, Grade2, Subject 3, Grade 3…. Etc. This is so that I can have all the grades for one pupil on one page of the mail merge; a report is unsuitable for me because of the limited formatting capabilities. Is there a way I can group all the records for one pupil into one or do I have to do something else?
Please help,
Sam
