Hi all,

we currently use w2k on our desktop machines in a windows 2003 domain. We will be moving over to windows xp desktops. However when applying group policy items to the test XP machine (sp2)the group policy items don't apply. However they work fine on a w2k machine (logged in as the same user.)
I have tested all the obvious things (applied the settings locally to make sure I have used the correct GP item, applied the GP to the correct user/group, left the XP machine logged in to see in the GP applies over time etc)but nothing seems to works. Has anyone had any experience of this ?. Any help appreciated

my problem seems to be caused by a dns issue. will have to do further investigations.

Thankyou for the help
