Well, I'm new to Terminal Server, Active Directory and Group Policies. I've been handed down the task of Interim System Manager (I'm the SW developer here). Interim may be a misnomer as the future looks to hold me being THE system admin for quite a while...
We have two servers. An email server running active directory and a terminal server. Apparently, the terminal server clients, at one time, either had access to the internet, or didn't. Now, it appears that ALL of them have access.
Before our origial sysadmin left, he moved all AD accounts to a different partition. I think this might have been the cause of all users getting net access - as it happened soon after this occurred, but I can't pinpoint how or why.
I have no idea if group policies were enacted here, but do see .pol files in each of the user directories.
Can anyone help me w/in this thread to find how I can re-restrict internet access to some of our terminal server users? This is a crunch, get it done, item from my boss and I'm feeling quite buried! ugh, can you help??
Thanks,
Mike
