sometimes times it works, the next time you log in it may not. Starting to get me down.

Any ideas?

The policy sets homepage, Proxy etc....

cheers
Ian.

Many of the Internet Explorer policies are a once and done policy, they are actually more of a preference than a group policy. What that means is that if something programatically alters the registry entries (like a software installation etc.) set by those policies, they do not get reset by the policy.

What you will find however is that if you change the policy, it will be set next time the client is rebooted\logs on. To ensure these settings are propagated, I routinely touch the policies and re-save them so they are properly applied to all of my clients.
