Hey guys, well, for those of you that remember, I solved my group policy problem I was having a week or so ago, it was basically an issue of waiting for the policy to apply. I am running into a different problem now though.

I have created a logon script to map network drives for users on the domain. I added the script to the OU of the users that I want it applied to. Now here is where I am stuck. If I logon to the particular user account that the scipt should run for, on the domain controller, all the group policies along with the script work fine, my drives are mapped and everything, perfect. If I goto a workstation and logon, the policies that I defined are applied (hide desktop etc) but the script either is not working, or is not running, because my drives are not being mapped.

I have made sure to give the policy time to apply itself, and the problem persists. Any suggestions? Thank you much!

the station your trying to run it on what OS is it? is the script a vbscript? if so make sure that scripting is installed on that pc

Hello, its a windows 2000 Professional workstation. The script is just a .bat file. I think I figured it out, it started working the other day. Might have been DNS as some people suggested, not sure yet though. Thanks!!!
