Configuring XP machine autoupdates in 2003 GP.
Is there a way to set an autoupdate and install for a specific time and not autorestart or prompt for restart.
We have an agency wide policy that all workstations must be shut down at the end of the day. I would like to keep users from being interrupted by restart prompts or autorestarts during their workday.
Currently updates are downloaded and installed and the user is prompted to restart...if they ignore the prompts the machine reboots after 30 min....no matter what. If they choose to delay they are reprompted again after 5 min.
Would like no prompts, no auto restarts...but files all downloaded, installed only need manual restart to complete installation.
TIA
