When adding a new hunt group for a skill it is asking for a group extn. I have done this before but cannot for the life of me think where I add it.

Anyone know this off the top of their head?

On the hunt group page see below:

Group Number: 16 ACD? n
Group Name: Queue? n
Group Extension: Vector? n
Group Type: ucd-mia Coverage Path:
TN: 1 Night Service Destination:
COR: 1 MM Early Answer? n
Security Code:
ISDN Caller Display:

Hope this helps

No...I know where you put it in the hunt group but where does that number come from/relate to? As in if I want to use 1234, where do I define 1234 before adding it into the hunt groups field?

It really depends on what type of hunt group you have. If the number will ring straight into the hunt group, then 1234 would be the group extension.

If it truly is a "skill" as you stated before, then 1234 would be a VDN that runs a vector. In the vector you would "queue to skill 5 pri m" to get to the hunt group.

The number is any free extension in your dial plan. To insert into a hunt or vdn etc is only that it is unassigned. Once the hunt or vdn is saved it then becomes assigned. You need do nothing prior to the assignment.

I think that is what you asked first. Sorry about that
