Getting ready to install a 2620XM and it says it requires grounding via the grounding lug. Our current router, 1601, and other network hardware are not specially grounded so I'm wondering if this is absolutely necessary? What does everyone else do?...do you run a grounding wire to the metal of the rack or what?

Thanks

We always ground out our racks and cabinets to the building ground system. That's just one of those things that takes 2 minutes to do right, but could take hours/days to fix the aftermath!
