Hi,

I needed some help regarding charts.
My problem is that i have build a line graph based on two different tables on different x axis values into one single graph.
There are four values
eg.
Oil
Gas
Water
Tubing Pressure

The Oil,Gas and Water are recorded monthly ie. the 1st of every month and the Tubing Pressure is recorded daily.
The data is spread over two different tables.
A date range parameter has to be provided and then the graph has to plot the values of Oil,Gas,Water and Tubing Pressure based on the Date range selected.
My problem is that the Date Range is on a monthly basis and i have to show the tubing pressure for each and every day in the date range selected.

The x axis has to be on two different scales integrated into one.

I would really appreciate if anyone can give me an idea regarding how to go about it since i am new to crystal reports or whats the best solution to my problem.

Thanks in advance

Hi Sudhir !

The same graph can't have 2 different ranges. But your problem can be fixed:

Create 2 different graphs (1 for each type of date).

Than, put the background of 1 invisible and put the 2 graphs in the same position.

It worked for me !

I will try it out and let you know

DV...

How did you get the background invisible.
I was looking for that for another post and couldn't find it. I figured that I had imagined the setting. Ken Hamady

Hi Kem:

To do it, go to the chart analyzer, so click on the background and make it selected. With the right button of the mouse, select format chart and appears a new option: selected item. go there and select transparent for the color.

So the color of the background will be transparent.

Thanks, I looked all over for that and couldn't find it. Ken Hamady
