i am using crystal 8 running reports with a trucking mileage database, i have created a report with monthly summaries giving me 2 values per month for each type of miles ran. My problem is i only get 1 summary total per month, combining each of my 2 values, i need these totals kept separately. i separate the values based on a 3rd database varaible. any suggestions would be apprecaited.

Group the subtotals with the third variable

If that doesn't work, show an example of your report so we can see how it's laid out with the subtotals.

You could do a cross-tab (by month, by your field) or you could use conditional totals.
