To do what ? Playing with OLE ? Does the Content property suffice ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
Im not sure what OLE is to be honest! But what im trying to do is copy the entire body of one document into another, but things like content and paragraph dont copy the formfields i need to have copied across as well, i was hoping (vainly) that there would be some simple solution.

Have you tried to play with the InsertFile method ?
Or to play with a template ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Hopefully InsertFile does the trick for you. As noted in another post, however, InsertFile does have problems with headers and footers. As PH mentioned .Content may be better, and in particular, depending on your version, you may want to look at the Stories collection. Quite a bit depends on whether the document is open, or not.
