Good day,

I am trying toedit my default domain Policy. When I make a change and attempt to save I recieve a message that says that access is denied.

I have gone through several Microsoft articles and news groups trying to find permissions from what has changed.

I have tried with my account as well as the domain admin account.

Any ideas?

Thanks

can you creare a new one sucessfully?

Hope this Helps.

Yes I can, at least in the OU's have not tried at the domain level.

There should be no difference, as you don't "create" GPOs at any level. You create a single GPO as an object, then link it to a OU so, lets think again.

What changes are you trying to make.

WARNING
-------

The only thing you shoud EVER change on the default policies are the password policies.

Everytihng else you should keep in seperate new GPO.

Hope this Helps.
