Good anti-spam for Exchange ?

Loads of them. Search this forum for "spam" and you'll find this has been covered numerous times per week for years.

We are using Orfee (

find spam filtering and find it works very well. The latest version will allow you to redirect all emails which are suspect to an Exchange account where you may review the email before deciding to actually delete. It also creates a sender whitelist based upon outgoing emails if you so desire.

We also use Symantec for Exchange to strip certain attachments amongst other functions.

The two together have performed well for us.

I love GFi - search for Spam, Zel and GFi in here and you'll find a large overlap.

Microsoft bought the rights to it and it is the engine in Exchange 2003. Nuff said.

I personally use the Vamsoft ORF. Spamcop and CBL together are pretty accurate. I estimate that this catches about 85% of all incoming spam. We have only had one batch of problems with false positives when one of our clients was blacklisted by spamcop, but then, that was their fault for not having a good enough AV system, and allowing their network to fill up with open proxys....

If you're looking for an in-house solution, Symantec Brightmail Anti-Spam is a great product. Great reporting and quarentine features too.

I am another GFI MailEssentials fan and user.
It takes a little while for the engine to learn from your outgoing mail but once it does it stops about 90%.]
