Good and free VB6 utilities needed 2

I have recently been reassigned to maintaining VB6 programs and I am finding it difficult to use existing tools (e.g. OLEView) to help with diagnostics.

Of particular interest to me now is something like Object browser, but I need to examine contents of object variables (e.g. an ADO recordset), and recurrively track down embedded objects within parent objects.

I am of course interested in other useful tools applicable to VB6 development, hopefully free as my employer nolonger want to invest in VB and I cannot afford tools on my income.

Are there websites that people go to for list of good and free utilities? Maybe even a page on this site?

Try using the locals window. It will do almost everything you ask.
