I have to take a report written in 9.0 and convert it to 8.5.
Is there and easier way to do this, than recreating the whole report in 8.5.

I am using an access database.

Thank You.

There were rumors about one company having a utility to do this conversion but when I tried to contact them I never got a reply. At this point I believe there is no way to achieve this.

I agree. I have already dealt with this issue a couple of times.

Ido who was that company? I would like to try to contact them again.

Don, I don't remember. It was mentioned in one of Bruce's (Chelsea Tech) newsletters.

Bruce, if you are reading this, can you clarify the status on that issue?

Cheers,

In the absence of a utility, you can manually copy everything over and paste them where they belong in a new CR 8.5 report. It can be painstaking, and time consuming, but if you have to do it, than the option is there.
