Hello
Is anyone else having problems using GMX for voice mail to email on Embedded VM. Was working fine until recently now no one in the office is receiving voice mails through their emails. Logged into GMX and can send email from the account to the user's email but not through the IP Office...have tried both ports 25 and 587.

What ip address do you have under SMTP tab? Ping smtp.gmx.com or mail.gmx.com and match that ip address to what you have under the SMTP tab in the IPO

Can you telnet to smtp.gmx.com or 212.227.17.174?
It works for me.

looks like they're using 74.208.5.30 and port 25
when I ping GMX I get 212.227.17.184 but I do get a reply when pinging the 74 address

Try changing the IPO to the 212 address/port 25

I get a reply on 212.227.17.174

If you telnet to 212.227.17.174 port 25 you should get:

220 gmx.com (mrgmx103) Nemesis ESMTP Service ready

This should work for any SMTP server

OK, changed to the 212 address and worked for about three hours and quit. Checked GMX inbox and there are a bunch of failed delivery messages to addresses that were working earlier...UGGGG!

Hey, you're getting what you pay for. But best to upgrade to R9 if not already and then use GMail, works fine for me as GMX can be funny it seems
