MAS90 v4.1. Trying to find the GL_PeriodPositngHistory table in VI and not able to. I am wanting to pull in the begining balance, debit and credit amounts for a given period. Is this file in VI?

Whether or not GL_PeriodPositngHistory is available to import into (you are correct that it's not available), you are always better off importing into Data Entry tables to maintain file integrity.
In this case you would want to use GL_GeneralJournalHeader. After importing, General Journal to update. This also gives you the opportunity to look at the imported journal (in General Journal Entry) before updating.
