Hello I am new here. :)

I have something that i am sure some of you will find an easy question. I wanted to know how to give a user and group local administrative access rights to my windows 2000 server. I do have active directory installed. Please help. :)

Open A.Directory USers and Computers..
Go to the Users Container, or the Organizational Unit they are located. If you don't know exactly where they are, you can use the Find Tool (you can find it in the Tool Bar, it has a magnifying glass).
Once you have the User located, right click on it, and go to its properties..You will find the "Member of" Tab..There you can Add the user to different groups. A+, MCP, CCNA
