Greetings All,

I am deploying several identical IBM G41's. I loaded the first one with all the required software and settings. I ran sysprep -mini -quiet -activated and resealed the computer. Using Ghost, I uploaded an image.

I load the image onto the other computers using Ghostcast. Unfortunately, when I reboot the computer after the image transfer, all I get is a blinking cursor.

Any ideas? I haven't found much to work with at the Symantec support site.

Thanks,

Mugs

I booted from an XP cd, ran the recovery console, and ran FIXMBR. The made the cloned computer bootable.

I'm trying to avoid this in the future, so I'm creating a new image in which all registry entries under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices

except for the entries designating C and A are deleted. I'll let you know if it works.
