Getting Wizards to Install and Run

When I try to use the switch board manager I get an error message that states :
This Feature isn't installed.
To install this feature, rerun the Microsoft Access or Microsoft Office Setup program, click Add/Remove,
and then select the wizards check box.

So I tried this and the check box is already checked.

The machine that the problem is on is running Office 2000 and Access 97.

Does any one have any suggestions?

Thanks
Gwen :)

Two suggestions. First, and simplest, make sure the wizards button is on in your form design toolbar. If it is on it should look like it is slightly glowing. Quite often it inadvertently gets switched off.

If it is on, and your wizards don’t work, whoever promised you that just because Windows sees wizard files installed, that the switchboard wizard is amongst them all?

In this situation, I would make two passes of the setup program. The first pass to delete them all. Reboot your PC. Rerun install, and this time install your wizards. That should get them.
YMMV.

Thanks for all the help. I found the problem. The Wzmain80.mde file needs to have modify permissions. After changing that everything works great.
