We use Norstar Meridian 7310 phones. One phone does not ring, no matter what extension is dialed (with the exception of intercom). How to I get this phone to ring? Also, it will not automatically answer a ringing line when the handset is picked up. This can be very confusing when one line is ringing and another is on hold. Please help.

unless the phone rings you do not have auto pickup on incomming calls.

1. enter programming **266344 password **266344
2. enter terminal and sets enter the ext #

note to get the correct ext# from the phone press Feature *0 ( zero ) press the icm key note the ext #

3.scroll down to line appearance and select the line to program line 001, 002, 003, etc you will see a ring and appear, Appear and so forth select ring and appear then continue will all lines required.

This is from memory so if I left something out let me know. Jeter@LasVegas.com

IF you want to be able to pick up a call when you lift the handset. You will need to log into the phone system under
Feature **266344 pswd 266344

IF you see Terminals and Sets press the ist arrow on the right then you will see show set enter the ext number of the set that is giving you the problem. Then press the ist arrow on the right 2 times then press the 2nd arrow on the right and you will see line pool access: make sure that phone is set up in pool A then press the 1 arrow on the left and then press the the 2 arrow on the right and make sure the prime line is set to pool A.

But once you set the lines up on that phone to appear and ring you should be able to just pick the handset up to answer the call. Hope this helps
