Getting next number in sequence.

If someone read this in another forum sorry. Posted it in the wrong one.

I have a table that looks something like this.

OrderID Product Seq CustID
1 xyz 16 a494
2 fji 17 a494
3 ere 18 a494

I want to get next number in Seq. I have seen something with NoCount but have no clue how to use it.
