I am getting an error message after I run an MS Access 2000 file. I don't get it on all files and I can't seem to figure out the problem.

The error message is:

Cannot find file C:\databases\file.mdb (or one of its components).
Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.

anyone seen this before?

the error states exactly what your problem is...

the database is looking for the .mdb file in that location by that name, but it's missing, check to see if you're not linking to there somehow or that there's nothing in code which looks there...

I am only getting this error after the file is closing. I don't know what else there is to look for. Its a very simple access file. Any ideas?

there could be something in an onClose event, or a automatic update to that file, look in your code for anything that references that address also look in you msysobjects to see if anything references that address...
