Getting CPU speed from windows registry... 3

can you please tell me how to locate the speed of the CPU
in windows XP pro registry keys?

I don't know about the registry but why not use

Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information

That'll give you a break down of the system.

If you right click "My Computer" and open properties CPU speed is right at the bottom

No Guts No Glory. So I try and try again...

It is actually not a registry item.

Using WMI through a script file can help. But remember that many modern processors have stepping levels, and what you read at any point in time reveals little.
