Getting and Error when using word and meditech

I am not sure if I am in the right forum but if some out there has worked with Meditech I hope you can help me. Recently our transcriptionist have been getting the following Error within Meditech "Disk Error: Bad Allocate 131". The users would get this error when they finish transcribing a report and hit the a function key to send it out from meditech to a person that needs the dictated report via fax. We do have a fax server and they are connected to it or atleast have access it. If someone can at least tell me if it is a meditech issue or a hardware issue. A transcriber in a different location can hit the same function key and the error does not pop up.

This issue has not been resolved yet. The problem now seems to be intermittient. The only thing that has changed since then was that we installed the latest security updates and upgraded to w2ksp4

Just a WAG, but can the send function be performed by a menu option rather than a function key? Could the function key in question have been hijacked by another application on the machines affected? Could the intermittent nature of the problem have to do with what's open when the error does/does not occur?

If the first answer is yes, the next two probably are yes as well.
