Get Windows Username from Web Page 1

I have a web page running on local intranet - all Win XP clients with IE6.

I want to extract the username of the logged on user for display and use in the site. How can I get the username?

Ask that question in the ASP forum.... I work with some guys who do that all the time in their ASP pages...I'm sure you could google that too....

Thanks for the help! I was hoping not to use ASP as I don't know how, but if it's the only way then so be it!
