i would say they must be in WMI, perhaps not a specific object, but you might need to iterate through all the device objects and check a .conflict property? or it might be quicker to write a WQL query for all device objects with a specific value for .conflict property.
.conflict was a guess, but it must be there. if WMI doesnt know about it then who does? does the registry have any thing nice about devices and their status??
