Has anyone ever heard of this company? I work for a hospital that has a very old system that they desperately need to get working (it died). This old proprietary system is soley dependent on a Future Domain TMC-840 SCSI card (8 bit). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is this the correct spelling for the company? There was one with a similar name that was in the repair business that took care of Basic4 computers. Think they were headquartered in King of Prussia, Pa. If this is the company , then I may be able to trace down some contacts. As far as I know , they are still in business.
Assume , since you mentioned it , that you are in need of FD controller. Have you tried ebay? I've seen lots of FD stuff mentioned there , although most of it has been more recent.

Thanx Ed. Here is a little more info: This was a data imaging company that went bankrupt in 1993. Of course our hospital and the politics waited until this thing died before they decide to do anything about it (now it is IT's problem instead of medica records). Yeah, I check ebay daily. I did get a model TMC-845, but back then the didn't pump out cards like the do today and the drivers are probably no where near the TMC-840. The software is definately looking for this particular card. I am going to check out the info you gave me fo PA.

Thank you!

After reflection, Genesys One computer corp. And no relation.
Based on some stuff I did with Xenix and the FD stuff, think the only difference between FD and the Adaptec, Bustek, Buslogics, etc was in the IO address and IRQ that was used.
I'll look at my supply tonight (Sat) and see if I have one.
What kind of operating system ? Based on hospital imaging I suppose Pick. But you might want to look into the OS supplier to see if there is a driver that can be loaded that will pick up the later stuff. Ed Fair
