My Norstar system used to have an optin in which we could activate our personal afterhours message that would dump call directly into thr gen del mailbox. We used Feature 871 to do so. The settings got changed somewhere, Now when we activate the ringing service using Feature 871 we still get our personal greeting but then the automated att. operator says the operator is not available then we get a second (different) personal greeting from the attendant mailbox.

I found the original (correct) messsage in the greeting table msg #4 (It was the only msg in there).

So, my question is how can I correctly program this to use only this msg without the auto att. talking or using the other msg.
 
Try going under feature 982 When it ask for the pswd spell out operator then scroll through the options and make sure the business is set to open and the attendant dn is entered.

Then go under the feature 983 and enter the log number press AA then press GRTG then press AA again make sure the
AA is set to yes. if you dont want the AA to pick up at night go in and change the fwd no answer to pick up before the AA picks up. Or you can set the operators phone to fwd directly to Vm by just fwding the operators phone by using the Feature 4 and entering the Vm Dn number.

Try this it may work
