I have been attempting to create a Gant chart in Crystal v.8.5. I found the following tip and am not sure how to implement it:

1.Select a stacked bar chart and the horizontal alignment.
2.Recalculate your data series as a base value and an increment
3.Use those calculations on the chart
4.Select the first series in the bar and change the fill color to white.

Does anyone know how to complete the second step?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Yes, you can use that approach in Crystal 8.5, but are you aware that starting with version 9, Crystal provides a Gantt chart as a standard chart type?

Cheers,

Yes, but unfortunately my company does not want to upgrade at this time so I have to work with 8.5. Do you know how to implement the second step? Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but I'm having problems with this. Thanks for your help!
