Our S8700 has NTP time sync set up. All of our 4620 phones, PC, and DCP phones displayed perfect time until recently. We added 4 G700 gateways with DCP phones - these DCP phones are showing various times. One G700 has an LSP that does not have the NTP service set up. I'm going to change that but my question is this - for a DCP phone on a gateway, where does the phone get it's date/time? I would have though that it comes from the main server, in this case an S8700.

The telephones will get time from the S8700 .. if you have the locations (time schedule set up ) the time should work just fine.. per avaya's guide books.. however I see time creep on some of my telephones.. occassionally.. dont know what is the cause of this.. I wish I knew..
