G450/S8300 LSP with 875 Phones

Hi, Looking at this project CM 6.3 - I see G450 can be LSP for 450 phones with S8300. To register more than 450 phones is a second G450 with S8300 required in the same location to host over 450 phones in LSP mode?

If so how is that configured, is it just a second media-gateway in the same location or do you need to divide up which phones will register to what gateway in LSP mode?

It would be easier to use a larger server that could support the number of phones at the site you're designing the failover for. A simplex CM server can support 2400.

I was told that S8300D/G450 can register up to 1000 H.323 stations in survivable mode. I research the documents, I found one but it was CM7, Another doc said it was SRS (not LSP). It does not seem clear when I read the documents they say 1000+ SIP/H.323 in SRS? The goal is 875 H.323 phones registered to the core and able to survive like LSP with a G450 or G650. I have spare S8500C that could be configured. Not sure what the best option is... Thanks

1000 is in fact right, I guess I was thinking about older values. The offer limit is in fact 1000 - row 1930 of the following table confirms that.
