G450 configuration issue

I have an issue that when we boot up a new G450 it does not allow me to configure 10/5 or 10/6 to the correct ip address what gives

Are you trying to make the change through the service port. If I remember correctly, the lan ports do not have address assigned to them until you load the first config.

Thanks Tolson that is what happened once we loaded the config then we were good to go nice call
