We have 2 G150's networked to an 8700. Phones behave fine for several hours, then suddenly calls lose voice path. Rebooting G150 seems to clear trouble, but this is happening multiple times every day.
Anyone seen this? Any insight into these lovely new boxes will be GREATLY appreciated!!!
TIA

Not sure how they are connected, are they through tie trunks, Direct ip (LSP), etc. If they are tie trunks make sure the signaling groups match on all ends, cause the direct IP to IP connection will cause them to reboot if not. If no tie trunks then I would try disabling the calls share ip to ip audio connections on the station forms themselves and let the medpro's do the work (assuming you have enough resorces). I had a problem just awhile ago when we were upgrading my outer offices from IP600's to 8300's and my signaling groups got hosed during the translation import and it caused our phones to reboot like crazy. Only affected my 4612's though, not my 4630's and 4620's. Hopes this gets it right for you.

Is great to find someone who has installed one of these things, I have problems with the analog trunks of the G150s suddenly they unregistered with the central 8710, do you have problems with the analog trunks on your installations???The clan always keeps communication with the G150 but the trunk appears unregistered in the Monitor.

The troubles that we are experiencing do not involve the phones rebooting on their own. We can place calls from the IP phones to the outside world, however there is no audio. If we reboot the G150 itself, this clears the trouble.

The only issue that we have had with the two that we have done so far is that we did discover that your codec set cannot be 711 for the analog trunk group. We've not experience any issues with the signalling group not staying up, or anything else.

Yes it is nice to finally know that someone else has actually touched one of these. EVERY bit of information that we can gain from this forum is valuable, since the TSO has been less than successful in diagnosing or resolving our issues.
