I heard that Nortel may come out with a new cordless telephone this year comming. I was wondering if any body else has any information. I have terible problems with clarity and echo on some of my T7406 phones have replaced repaired changed ports, relocated nothing seems to help. So I am hoping Nortel does something soon. Sincerely,

It's true. I almost had a site signed up as a beta tester, but they didn't want to.

It will be a cluster type system. One base antenna will be wired back to switch interface. Six repeaters will wirelessly connect to that antenna, so they only need power. I forget the amount of base antenna's but it was a bunch. The main control unit will take up residence in one or both of the old Companion fiber ports. These ports 13 + 14 will also be usable for station modules in 7.0, assuming you don't use it for wireless.

That sound promising. I guess there is not hope for CICS? Sincerely,
