<br><br>Hi there!<br><br>I would like to know:<br><br>1. Does FuseBox application suits for all applications.<br><br>2. What are the Pro's & Con's?<br><br>3. Fusebox says its being used to simplify the process.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; They mean the websites could be taken for maintenance<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;or any kind of inclusions in the application, without<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;affecting the other small applications in a large <br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;application. However it need to have separate fuses<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;(files for display/action/query/global&local var..etc.)<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Declaring all these might increase the files to be used.<br><br>4. As display, action & query files are coded separately,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;how to trace the errors....<br><br>5. More on Local & Global variables! How the variables could<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;be reffered in different stages, i mean for action file, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;display file & query file.<br><br>Your immediate response shall be highly appreciated.<br><br>Regards,<br><br>Sekar

loop an include 1000 times and time it. loop a custome tag containing the exact include as before and time it. kinda interesting. trap errors in the logic, befor they ever think about touching the display. Then you have totaly reliable logic that you should never have to touch (in a perfect world) Convert everything you can into attributes.
don't know if any of this helps, but some things I learned to make it easier if your going to do fusebox.

I'd say it really all depends. If you are doing a small application with a single purpose, then Fusebox may be overkill.

I first disliked the concept of FB -- it seemed to be &quot;over-engineering&quot; and defeats the purpose of the rapid development aspect of Cold Fusion. However, I started working on an application that I hope to eventually sell and dived into fusebox and found that it does simplify the process and you do wind up with less coding. The best advice that I can give you is to look at the sample applications at fusebox.org and write your next app in fusebox. You may be surprised.

FB is one of those things that is slow at first but when you get going it will cut development in half. We have been using FB for a year now. We use it on small and large projects. W use it because we feel:

-It allows us to have a consistent architecture
-FormUrl2Attributes enables making queries flat for search engine indexing
-All componenets are modular for drag and drop
-Increased security and user focus
-rapid (RAPID) development

Granted, we are not using fusebox to spec. Some things about FB just did not suit our needs, nor the needs of our clients. In that case we ha ve developed our own concepts. But, hey that is what it is all about.
