FTP Uploads of Announcements by RAS

Hi, I'm trying to upload files remotely to an S8720, the first thing I notice is that the IP address of my RAS dialup, is a different subnet than the IP addresses of the announcement boards in the PBX. When RAS'd, I cannot ping the IP addresses of the announcement boards. Is doing this even possible? Do I have to change the IP address of the announcement board to communicate? Any help would be greatly appreaciated.... This system is out of state from where I reside.

You can use ftp, sftp, scp to get files to your s8720 hard drive via the modem using the RAS IP address for the modem. Not much bandwidth to do this.
Once files are on the hard disk of your s8720, you can use ftp, sftp to copy files to and from the valboard which should be on the same network with your s8720.
