FTP Server Win2k Network Places Icon

We have a ftp server setup on a Windows 2000 AdvSvr edition computer. We would like our users to be able to browse through the "Network Places" to a icon for the server(just like a share). Is this possible?

The only way I can figure is to create a shortcut and copy it to everyone's nethood driectory.

C:\Documents and Settings\username\NetHood

Another way is to create a share to the FTP directory.
