FTP remote backup

Is a remote FTP backup done under LD 117 (BKPR) only available to work from ver 4.5 and on? or will it work on earlier versions? Thanks Any refereneces to this would be great. Thanks again!!

4.5 and later only. LD 117 or Element manager. CPIV or CPPM processors are required too.

I had 8 4.5 cs1000E all would fail backup to ftp during the open session in ftp server... nortel never would admit bad code.. anyway we upgraded to 6.0 did not change any software and all 8 work fine now. 4.5 to me is known unresolved issue

We have 3 Release 4.5 Option 61Cs with CPIV processors that backup via FTP every night with no issues. One site was recently restored via FTP also.

Not sure what your issue was but the code I have worked just fine.
