ftp problem

hi all,

I cannot seem to ftp to ftp.sunfreeware.com through my solaris 8, but i can do it with windows2000, what could be the problem ?

Try from your solaris 8 box
#ping ftp.sunfreeware.com

it was initially connected but then it droped the connection without even able to enter my username.
