I have a batch file that i use to ftp my website down to a windows 2000 server for backup.
It's problem is that it only gets the files and not the sub directories and their contents.
Anyone know how to do this?

Suspect I can't help - not a batch expert - but might get more response if you show us contents of batch file.

Yes, we have wsftp. I don't want to use a client. I need to figure it out with a batch file or a .vbs file or something

I dont think ftp.exe allows you to pull directories, you would have to tell the batch file to pull all files from 1 directory then change to the next one then pull the files from that one and so on.

yeah, but that is not an option because our site is many levels deep. And changed all the time. Thanks anyway
