Error logs on the catching server are clean and show no errors.

Have you tried to not save translations prior to the ACP translations backup?

phoneguy55: Thanks for your reply. Yes the backup was not saving translations at first then I changed it to save with no change.

It will work now for a few days and then report a failure. The ftp file on the catcher server is showing a zero byte file. And no errors.

Thanks
ED

Change the time to 02:16. You may be running into a conflict with your maintenance. Any time before 02:10 is not a very good idea anyway with DST changes.

It may simply be a network issue. Are other systems running backups at the same time and is this over a WAN with limited bandwidth?

jimbojimbo: Thanks for the reply. I surely can change the time again. I have FTP backups from systems around the world dumping files around 2 AM local time to the city the system resides. All return codes in the FTP log files are good. A rerun even 2 minutes after the failure completes error free. This system resides in Dublin and is serviced by BT. BT states the issue is customer related (they did not program it) and Avaya states it a BT issue. Here we go hang on for a 5 ticket ride.

I will change the start time to after 2:15 AM Dublin time and report back.
