I'm getting this error on a Svr 2000 SP4 box.

Event Source: ESENT
Event Category: Database Page Cache
Event ID: 404

Description:
ntfrs (3408) Synchronous read page checksum error -1018 ((1:23714 1:23714) (0-13753097) (0-14860280)) occurred. Please restore the databases from a previous backup

Apprently i need to restore the database or repair it. Question is what exactly do i need to restore - the ntfrs.jdb file or something else? I do have daily backups.

FRS seems to still be working ok although files are not getting deleted form the staging area after replication.

Thanks. It's not exactly my symtoms but i think its happened as a result of applying crical updates then rebooting the server. When it came backup it said the server shutdown unexpectedly. Looks like the frs databases was still being written to although i have a raid array in the server. I'm just unsure as to how to fix it (using NTDSUTIL) or restoring a version from a backup.
