When I click on the "Start" key (in Windows 2000 Pro), the key stays depressed and the menu does not appear. There is no problem using desktop icons or starting programs from task manager. I checked the event log and there are no errors. I have not installed any new applications or made any modifications to the register or my profile (local - no roaming). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Additional note: I am getting the same result when I log in as a different user to the network or locally. This would indicate to me that its a local problem. Is there a way to dump or view some kind of log file?

Thanks for your reply. I checked the register an its setup correctly and there is not a redirected Start Menu folder on the network. Any other ideas?
