Frontpage extension on webserver

Greetings,

We are trying to migrate the Frontpage page from NT server to a Windows 2000 server and wondering whether an AD is needed to be in the Windows 2000 servers. Can it use the local user ID to access the web pages ?

I have tried to configure the web page for Windows 2000 but it somehow cannot set the security permission at individual folder in the front page server Windows 2000. The security is alway propogate to all folder in the web server.

Anyone had any idea what could be the problem ?
