Front End Question

I split my databases on the server and put a copy of the front end in a folder of each user's system. Now when I try to access the databases on the user's PC's the database starts to open and then a message comes up that it can't find the BE. If I get lucky the database will minimize and I can use the linked table manager but on one system it just shuts down and there is nothing I can do to relink the BE to it. Can anyone help me with this?

Have you tried holding down the Shift key when opening the db to bypass the startup actions?

No but I will try it! I wish I could figure out a way for the database to automatically find the back end. Any suggestions?
