Fresh Install Crashing with STOP NTOSKRNL.EXE error

After getting through all the file installs and networking stuff, its down to the "last few tasks" screen, makes it to the "Saving Settings" step and then gives up a BSOD error complaining about NTOSKRNL. Errrrr
 
Try a different CD the one you have may be bad.

Is your hard drive and RAM known to be good?

I have had the same problem with a known good cd. Do yourself a favor...just re-install again...and again if necessary. It sucks....but it works.
