Freecell Stuck on Game 1

I'm a bit embarrassed asking this here but it seems to be a Vista issue. In Vista's Freecell game, it seems to be stuck on some previous game and always goes back to it when the game is closed and then opened. Using the Undo will not take that particular game to anything prior to the state of play where it opened but once it has been played through and a new game started, then Undo works properly and the next time I open it, there is the game again with the same issues. I tried abandoning the game and starting a new one and I also tried resetting all statistics but these things made no difference. I also found the folder where previous games are stored and emptied it but that did not help either. Any ideas and/or is there a better place to post this? Thanks.

I take it you have checked under the Game tab, for a New Game, and under Options to make sure everything is OK in there?

Have you tried unchecking that particular game from the Games section in "Turn Windows Features on and off/ Programs and features"? Then reboot, and then turn it back on.

You could try System Restore, and System File Checker.
