Freebsd Gateway/Router Problems

Just a quick question. Im building a 5 nic Freebsd 5.2 Gateway/Router. I have dhcp and all basic network functions running but no matter what i do i cant ping from the inside interfaces out through the Wan interface. Yet i can ping the Wan interface it self. If any one can enlighten me on my mistake i would greatly apreciate it. Here are my /etc/rc.conf

Also i have recompiled the kernel with IPFIREWALL, IPFILTER, IPDIVERT.

Update

It turnes out that i can ping directly through the Freebsd Gateway/router. From both the wan and the inside interfces but i cant ping the net. I must be doing things really wrong. Heres what i want to do

Wan port = interface fxp0
Inside ports = dc0, dc1, xl1, xl0

I want to have the inside interfaces behind the firewall and nated. I know i have the Wan set wrong but thats just for testing. When in place on my cable connection it will be ifconfig_fxp0="DHCP"

Could any one post some sample configs of a similar setup?

Sorry one more thing. I am new to freebsd. I understand alot about it and have built several mail toasters with out a hitch. but creating the Gateway/Router seams to be getting me. thanks
